    1. Well Philippe - that indicates how Pointless this all is!!
Not only do I have Swathes of posts with not a single response (after very many hundreds into thousands downloads) - but your notification is after 50 page-views and nobody cared to mention that previously..............................
Seems I forgot to 'apply' the change as need to copy a previous link to keep it truncated (as in 'Mega Download').
Now corrected: the Strauss is very good, btw...

    2. I do thank you for all the treasures you are offering to us here and all the work it represents, which I can only imagine.

    3. Volume 2 a bad example of vinyl crackle caused by some prior 'cleaning solution'. When selling LP's (rare/desirable 'as new' even if 50yo) I suspected they'd be subjected to something like a Keith Monks RCM (derived from Percy Wilson's mid-60's design which includes Isopropanol: very undesirable on vinyl. The BBC used that; but LP's, for them, were cheap/disposable (relative to 'needle-time' payments).
My transfers rarely need/use even minimal computer intervention - being hand-edited. Compare to a method such as:-

  2. Greetings! I have downloaded and enjoyed your superbly musical and honest transfers for a couple of years now. I'm really sorry that I have not expressed my appreciation and admiration for your efforts before. I hope you continue to offer your treasures to us all!

    Cheers,

    Ron

    1. I dunno: suppose I'd be content just to get comment/s along the lines of "I've got the Sabata DG CD box [which has a Respighi] and it's far superior to the LP's you've transferred".
Same applies to the fairly recent Toscanini - are they good/bad transfers..
The Gigli/Boheme isn't otherwise available (?) and substantially downloaded.
As mentioned, years back, I'd substantially transferred the 78/LP Orchestral to hand (and have now filled-up the main Mega storage...).
