    1. Je reçois rarement des commentaires sur mon chant, alors c'est sympa d'avoir le vôtre ! Quel merveilleux artiste était Muzio.

  2. Thank you for this post. It is good to be remined of a singer whose vocal talents were equal to her expressive abilities. p.f.r.

    1. Intended doing the transfer last June. As you can hear there's some variation in Background Noise: have removed the more obvious 'impulses' from the ancient de-click methods. Vocals are never overly popular; though may add the mid-80s HMV Treasury "Stars of the Vienna Opera - 1918 - 1945" which may not have been uploaded elsewhere.

  3. This was a set I had on LP. It has been a great pleasure to hear such a great artist again in such marvellous transfers. Many, many thanks!

    1. By 1984 only bought minimal new-releases - mostly Historical -so probably was persuaded by The Gramophone review.
No idea if the Melba 5LP box got reissued (or uploaded). Unlikely the Gwen Catley has been:- or the Patti (2LP) ?
Sounded OK to me as well. Horrid eBay prices for any remaining new stylii (over £130) as in 2007 got 4 sealed for £24 -this the first used from that batch.
