Thank you for postng these recordings. Even in her 60s and with diminished vocal resources, it is remarkable to listen to a soprano who sang for Rossini and was much respected by Verdi.

DeleteGetting-to-know these again the shortness of breath is apparent plus the 'similarity' of so much material - but the stand-outs, then and now, are "La Serenata" and the really wonderful "La Calasera" - both almost worth the fortnight's wage......
NB: very little interest in this so won't bother with any more..
